Kenneth D. Jorgensen

Kenneth D. Jorgensen, age 85 of Shafer, MN, on March 20, 2014. Kenneth was born March 30, 1928 in Bruno, to Albert and Laura Jorgensen. He attended school in Bruno. June 10, 1949 he married his wife Tyre in Stillwater. Ken worked for over 36 years at Andersen Windows until his retirement. In his free time he enjoyed farming, mechanical work, gardening, auctions, garage sales, traveling, especially to Arizona, and helping his family.

Kenneth was preceded in death by wife Tyre; grandson William A. Howard, brothers Albert, Ed, Ted; sisters Mary, Edith, and Ruth. He is survived by children Rob (Kathy), Rick (Debbie), Ardis Chinander, Lori Howard, and Larry (Diane); 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, dear friend Alice Kuehn, sister Mildred (Jim) July and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service was Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at First Lutheran Church in Taylors Falls, MN. Visitation was Monday at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN and one hour prior to the service at Church.
