Helen M. (Gauthier) Hallberg, 88, of Mora, formerly from Center City/Lindstrom passed away September 21, 2014 at her home.  
Helen was born July 5, 1926 in St. Paul to Charles and Florence Gauthier.  She attended Central High School in St. Paul.  Helen married Clarence (Cary) H. Hallberg on June 8, 1946.  They moved to Center City in 1952, where she became employed as a typist with Hazelden, and later worked for Chain of Lakes Real Estate as a secretary.  After retiring, Helen and Cary spent their winters in Tucson, AZ and summers near Garrison, MN.  Helen loved to travel, knit, read and visit with family and friends.  
She is preceded in death by her husband Cary; son Steven, two brothers and sisters-in-law whom she loved dearly.  Helen is survived by her son Timothy, daughter Mary (Lloyd), daughter-in-law Sharon, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nephews and families, also many friends.  Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindstrom, Minnesota.  Visitation one hour prior to the mass at church.  Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.  Memorials preferred to Li’l Farm Children’s Home, 34075 Jefferson St. NE, Cambridge, MN 55008 or to your local Humane Society.  Arrangements by  Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.  Condolences may be left online at www.grandstrandfh.com
