Roman H. Seide, age 85 of Chisago City, passed away on January 12, 2015 at Parmly LifePointes in Chisago City.  

Born in Beaver Dam, WI. A graduate of Horicon High School. He Served two years in the Korean War. Roman worked for the Burlington Northern and Amtrak Railroads for 42 years.  He was an active member of St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church.  Roman was very involved with the Lions, American Legion, as well as a volunteer at Parmly LifePointes. The son of the late Julius and Lena Seide.

Preceded in death by his wife Ellie the love of his life. Survived by his children Doug (Joyce), Steve (Robyn), Lee Ann (Roger), Mike (Terre), Tom (GF Paula), daughter-in-law Sandra, 12 grandchildren; Justin, James, Sean, Roger, Samantha, Ryan, Shannon, Katie, Lauren, Madeline, Sierra and Brett, and four great grandchildren Austin, Faith, Jax and Adalynn.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held  Monday, January 19, 2015 at

St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church, 13060 Lake Blvd., in Lindstrom, MN.  Visitation Sunday at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN and one our prior to Mass at the church.  Interment at Sunset Memorial Park in Minneapolis, MN.
