Beverly Benson

Beverly J. Benson (Jonason) age 85 of Center City, MN, passed away  June 16, 2015 in her sleep at Parmly Lifepointes. Beverly was born to Arnie and Nona (Victor) Jonason on September 15, 1929 at the St Croix Falls, WI. Hospital. Bev grew up in Lindstrom, MN, in the home her Grandfather C.A. Victor built. She graduated from Chi Hi High School in Lindstrom. She went to the MN School of Business and graduated and went to work for General Mills as a secretary.

She married Norman Benson Jan. 20^th, 1951 and was married for 57 years.  Beverly lived in the Chisago Lakes Area and raised their family. She worked for Hermes Realty and retired later from Hazelden. They moved to Two Harbors in 1995. Beverly returned to Lindstrom in 2004 with her husband to be closer to their grandchildren. She always had a smile on her face when the grandchildren would stop to visit.

Bev is preceded in death by her husband Norman, daughter Sally, father and mother Arnold & Nona Jonason.  She is survived by daughters and son; Jodee (Karl), Jill, Dan (Carrie), Dana (Charlie), grandchildren, great grandchildren, & brother Robert.

Visitation from 5 to 8pm Sunday, June 28 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN & one hour prior to the service at church. Memorial Service 11 a.m. Monday, June 29 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom, MN. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Lindstrom.  Memorial gifts may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or Chisago County Cancer Society. Condolences maybe left online at www.grandstrandfh.com
