Robert Steven Sontag, age 20 of Shafer, graduated from Chisago Lakes High School in 2012 and was currently a junior at University of Wisconsin-River Falls.  He was pursuing a career in the dairy science field.  Bob was active in his church in Center City, baseball, wrestling, and FFA in high school and 4-H.  Through 4-H, he developed a passion for dairy cattle and hunting.  He loved his family and his family farm like no other and wished most of all to operate his own farm someday.  We will miss him terribly, especially his great laugh, his smile, his loyalty, and his great hugs.

Bob is preceded in death by uncle Robert S. Bahnemann.  He is survived by his parents Steven and Lisa; siblings Jill, Sara, and Mark; grandparents Richard and Shirley Sontag and Milton and Mary Ann Bahnemann; hound Buck; many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.  Funeral Services 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City with visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.  Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Center City.  Condolences may be left online at www.grandstrandfh.com
