He is preceded in death by parents, Henry and Irene and seven siblings.
Dan is survived by his wife Judy; children, Alanna, Diana and Danny, 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Joanne (Norm) Wagner and Dennis PaDelford and numerous other family and friends.
Dan was born in St. Paul, MN; served four years with the U.S. Navy and worked retail until moving to Lindstrom, MN in 1975 at which time he purchased a business with friends. He later worked at Plastic Products until retirement.
Dan and his wife Judy of almost 50 years enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life; golf, fishing, boating, camping, snowmobiling, traveling and going to the casino. Dan enjoyed the quiet country life in Shafer, MN. Watching the wild life come and go and when the grandkids came over and after they had left he would say, we better go to the store my candy dish is empty.
He enjoyed visiting with friend and had a quick sense of humor. These are Dan’s words he would always say, “When I die I want my obit to read ‘Dan Died’” RIP Dan.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date in Shafer, MN. Interment will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery Friday, April 8, 2016. Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom. Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com
