Theodore Martin Ellis 72, of North Branch, passed away on January 15, 2017 at home. His service is at Fort Snelling, Assembly 3, St. Paul, MN February 24, 2017 at 12:30 p.m.

Mr. Ellis is also known as “Gumby.” He was born on December 6, 1944 in Sommerville, Mass. His family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1954.  He served two tours in the Army in Vietnam. He also worked at Alcatel-Lucent in Arizona.

He liked volunteering in Search and Rescue teams in Maricopa County, Arizona. His favorite activities were fishing tournaments and hunting. Survivors included: domestic partner Rita, one daughter Rebecca, one son Geoffrey and his wife Colleen, one sister Susan, plus all extended family.
