Kathryn Anne Strenke, of Center City, MN died Friday, November 17, 2017 at Fairview Hospital in Wyoming, MN at the age of 74.

Kathy was born on October 4th, 1943 in St Paul, MN to Glenn and Margaret Mallin. She graduated from Osceola High School in 1961. She married Vernon Strenke on October 16, 1965 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Cumberland, WI. Kathy and Vern bought an 80 acre farm in rural Center City, and have lived there since 1968. Kathy worked for Hazelden for over 25 years and retired in 2006. Kathy had many friends and enjoyed reading, gardening and going to movies. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making those around her laugh with her quick wit.

Kathy is survived by son Rodman (Danielle) and daughter DeAnn (Delbert), three grandchildren Gabriel, Vaughn, and Caisa, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Vern, parents Glenn and Margaret and siblings Arthur and Sharron.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Almelund. Visitation will take place at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom Friday, December 1 from 4-7pm and at the Church, Saturday 10am-until the time of service.
