Tim Smith

Timothy James Smith, age 59 of North Branch passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, February 14, 2021.

Tim was born on January 15, 1962 in St. Paul to parents, Wayne and Phyllis (Greenwood) Smith. Tim was an Army veteran who proudly served his country for 11 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors with his friends and family.

Tim is survived by his wife, Linda; his children: Beau (Shawn); Sharrae (Jared); Halea (Will); Emma (Trevor); Jackson (Madi) and his granddaughters Layla, Olivia and Claira.

A memorial visitation will take place from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch. Family interment will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. The family would like to give a special Thank You to the Minneapolis VA for their care of Tim during his illness.
