Over the weekend, the Chisago Wildcat dance team competed at the Mississippi 8 Conference Championship meet and the varsity Jazz team took first place, which resulted in them winning a share of the M8C championship!

The jazz team’s finish gained them the points they needed to tie with Becker for the overall conference championship.  

The Varsity Kick team also took second place and was oh-so-close to make it a clean Wildcat sweep.

The Wildcats wrap up their season with one more invitational at Mounds View on Saturday, January 29 before heading to Sections at North Branch on Saturday, February 12.

The top three jazz teams an top three kick teams will make it to state from there, and Chisago Lakes is among  the favorites to earn a spot in both disciplines.
