Maren Dahl had a heck of a state meet on Tuesday, February 13.

The Chisago Lakes’ alpine skier finished in 22nd place at the state meet, nailing her runs and getting a great result.

She finished in 16th place on the Red Course crossing the checkered line in 41.51 seconds, putting her among elite company in the state meet. She didn’t have as smooth of a run on the blue course, but still managed a great finish, coming in 32nd place on that run with a time of 45.54 seconds.

The two combined runs gave her a time of 1:27.05, which was good for the 22nd place finish.

For sister Anna Dahl, she started out great as well, nailing her Red Course run with a 42.31 second finish. That was good enough to put her in 25th place after that run. But, she lost an edge on the Blue Course sending her a bit adrift. She finished the Blue Course in 54.55 seconds in 73rd place. Her combined time ended up being 1:36.86 to finish in 61st place.
