Lakes Area Police issued two tickets for incidents of school bus stop-arm violations over the week.

There was a report at 3 p.m. January 20 of a four-wheeler hauling a wagon at the South Center Lake boat landing, dumping brush.  If anybody can identify the suspects contact police. Lindstrom public works was directed to clean the mess.

An individual reportedly broke through ice on the river about 3 p.m.  by Interstate Park, Taylors Falls. Authorities went to try to locate. A little while later the subject notified dispatchers he’d gotten out on his own, he’d gone to dry out and warm up, and he was okay. 

January 20 a single vehicle crash at Olinda and Chisago Boulevard required extrication and Lindstrom fire and Lakes Area Police assisted. Victim taken to hospital. No additional details.

The county, North Branch Police and Lakes Area helped in a pursuit of a suspect wanted on warrants, who fled in a vehicle into Anoka County at Stacy, and drove into a field. Incident reported about 11 p.m.  A 37 year old male was arrested.

Dog barking and off-leash reported at address on Lincoln Street in Chisago City, about 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20. Officer spoke with owner about complaints.

January 19 a 32-year old female arrested for theft at Brink’s Market.

January 18 two vehicle crash at Hwy. 8 and County Road 14. Vehicle headed eastbound on highway went through red light, other vehicle was south on #14 going onto Hwy. 8.  Incident reported about 1:30 p.m.

No injuries reported.
