The Fentanyl Free Communities Foundation teamed up with the Chisago County Opioid Advisory Council and North Branch Community Education to hold an awareness event at the North Branch High School on Tuesday, November 12.

The program featured panelists from all walks of life, including medical professionals, people in recovery, sheriff’s officers, parents of fentanyl victims and many others. 

The event attracted over 100 visitors who came to find more information on counterfeit pills, substance use disorders, treatment options, recovery, family services, grief counseling, harm reduction, public safety, public health and mental health services.

The panel, which featured seven professionals, then took anonymous questions from visitors to help educate the public with their expertise.
