Diane Marie Linngren, age76, loved mother, grandmother, and Sunshine the Clown, that spread smiles wherever she could. Diane joined her loving husband Robert up in heaven April 7th, 2025.

Diane was born on September 25, 1948, to Eunice and Daniel Hunt in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has been a lifelong Minnesota resident. Diane was a devoted Christian who would help anyone that needed help. She had three children, Julie (John), Joel (Jennifer) and Jason (Angie). She is survived by all three kids and had nine grandchildren, Riley, Carli, Levi, Ben, Joesph, Vanessa and Victoria, and Paige. Diane loved to spoil her grandchildren and spend as much time with them as possible.

Diane was a nurse and worked in health care for most of her career serving and helping other. A little later in life she decided to spread joy, smiles and laugh’s by becoming a professional clown. She would put on a show at children’s birthday parties, lead kids in the 4-H clown club, and spread the word in our church through clowning and at local parades and festivities.

Diane, along with her husband, taught and educated people through the NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) for several years and were honored for their service.

The family would like to take a moment and thank all the wonderful staff of Ecumen North Branch. Diane had the honor of working with the Ecumen Hospice team as well, they all do amazing work, and we are forever grateful.

Funeral services were held 11 AM Friday, April 11, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Chisago Memorial Park in Chisago City, MN. Arrangements through Grandstrand Funeral Home of Lindstrom, MN. Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com.
