March 14 

There was a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Stacy about 8:50 p.m. March 13 but no serious injury was reported.  The man was walking on Stacy Trail near the top of the exit ramp from the northbound side of the freeway.  A car driver stopped at the top of the exit and turned to go west and struck the man. The preliminary report stated he was dressed in dark colors and there is no marked crosswalk at the scene.

March 10 an alarm was triggered at Rick’s Liquor in Wyoming about 6 a.m.  County deputies, Lakes Area and Wyoming Police responded and found signs of a forced entry.  We were awaiting any updates at print deadline.

March 12 a fire was spotted at the Xcel substation just north of Highway 8 in Lindstrom, about 9:44 p.m.  Stacy-Lent firefighters came and monitored the scene until Xcel could take over.
