Wyoming firefighters’ pension payout rises to $4,750 per year

Wyoming City Council handled end-of-year business in quick fashion last week, in a 35 minute meeting. Firefighters will appreciate action to raise their annual payout or pension to $4,750 per year of service upon becoming vested. The payout was $4,500 previously.

County Board sets wages for 2024

The County Board commissioner pay in 2024 is going up two percent from this year’s, to $34,063. The county pays 95 percent of insurance premiums for a commissioner single policy and 80 percent of a policy for a family.

Commissioners OK 10 dog max at Fish Lake kennel address
