Northwoods Humane Society held its popular fundraiser Saturday at Lent Township Hall, called Walk for Animals. Northwoods is on Hwy. 8, just outside of Forest Lake in Chisago County. The organization took in a total of 1,388 animals last year and adopted out 1,258.
