Center City water, sewer rates increase
Center City council took unanimous action last week in raising sewer and water rates for the next quarterly billing effective April, May and June. A reminder of the action should be included in the first quarter sewer and water statements.

Governor Tim Walz and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan today announced the appointments of John Bowen and Jason Steffen as district court judges in Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District. The seats will be chambered in Buffalo in Wright County and Pine City in Pine County.

St. Croix River fall victim identified
The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office has identified the person who fell into the St. Croix River Tuesday. Search crews had halted the recovery effort late Tuesday and returned Wednesday morning. The missing individual is identified as 18-year-old D'Andrea Sanvig, of Luck, Wisconsin.
