Last Saturday as you walked closer to the Chisago Lakes high school new gym, one could hear the bass of the music. Approaching closer, one could hear the 1,000 fans screaming as their favorite dance team competed at the Section 3AA Dance Team Championship competition.
The Wildcats are officially over the hump. After taking second the last two years are the section 7 ski meet, last Tuesday, the Chisago Lakes/St. Croix Falls boys and girls ski teams took first overall.
Senior Jimmy Lorr scored two of Chisago Lakes’ four first-period goals, and the Wildcats went on to extinguish the Pine City Dragons 8-0 last Tuesday at home.
It never fails to happen when you take kids ice fishing. You tell the little urchins over and over to be careful and mindful of where they walk, and yet, despite repeated warnings, it happens:
