True test at Bluejacket Invite
The North Branch girls track and field team battled it out at the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejacket True Team event last week in the cold, wet temps to finish in third place behind Cambrid-Isanti and Sartell. From left to right; Asaysha Olson won the triple jump event for NB and finished fourth in the long jump. Avery Smith anchored the 4x100 relay team that finished in second, just a second and a half behind Cambridge-Isanti’s foursome. Shaenya Andreotti won both the 100 meter hurdle event and the 300 meter hurdling event to continue her great season. The boys finished in fifth of sixth teams at the event.
