Wolf Creek School staff members have named Dustin Elm and Victoria Westman as Students of the Month for April based on their commitment to exceptional schoolwork during the beginning of Term 4. These students will receive a certificate for their achievement and be commemorated on our Student of the Month plaque.

Students are recognized each month for their dedication to academics and for pursuing their online education with perseverance at Wolf Creek.

Dustin Elm is a senior due to graduate in June. He has a very heavy course load this term, but is taking his classes very seriously. He is excelling in his science course, and overcoming any barriers and distractions to success. Becki Olseen, Dustin's Learning Manager describes him as, "A man on a mission. He has graduation in his sights and his working so hard to get there." Elm is a new father, and his new role in life has added to his motivation. He is really stepping up for his new daughter, and for himself. He is respectful, optimistic and determined, and a great asset to Wolf Creek!

Victoria Westman has shown great dedication during the 09-10 school year. "I have worked with Victoria Westman for three years now and it has been my pleasure to see her grow as a student during that time," comments Victoria's Learning Manager, Emily Stull. When she first began at Wolf Creek, Westman always worked from a distance and had trouble completing her work on time. Now, she attends the Wolf Creek campus regularly and is already on track or ahead in all of her classes this term. In her time outside of school, she also works as a junior high speech judge and is a copious writer. She plans on graduating next winter and has finally decided that she would like to go to school for photography.

Wolf Creek is a tuition-free online charter school serving full-time students in grades 9-12 across the state. Wolf Creek also serves part-time students using supplemental services and the online learning law. Wolf Creek is accredited by NCA, CITA, and NCAA. Instruction is technology based, and the course work can be completed off campus. Curriculum is available 24/7 online, and students have the option to work on campus each week.
