If you were one of the lucky people to take in Stacy Daze last weekend you would have noticed a bigger better and more exciting Stacy Daze.  You can really tell the added effort by the great folks from Stacy this year.  It was a fantastic event and it showed by the number of people that attended.  And a special shout out for one of the best fireworks displays that I can remember.  Congrats Stacy on such a great celebration!

This is Farmers Market Week in Minnesota.  We have some amazing farmers markets around our area including Harris, North Branch, Lindstrom, Chisago City and Franconia at the sculpture park.  There are 375 farmers markets in the state of Minnesota and we have some of the best.  Come on out and support our friends and neighbors and take home some wonderful food while doing so.

Congratulations to a former teacher of mine who recently turned 100.  Helen Fosdick who taught many of us Spanish at the high school just celebrated the century mark.  I believe the city of Lindstrom also recognized the day with a honorary Helen Fosdick proclamation.  

There is still time to get registered for the Ki Chi Saga Days City Wide Garage Sale.  If you turn to page 16 in this Press, you will find a sign-up sheet that you can fill out and either mail or drop off at city hall in Chisago City.  You will be included on their map and in any advertising which will drive shoppers to your door.  I believe there is a small fee included.
