Stacy Daze is August 2-4 and the community is paying tribute to longtime, much loved local businesspersons Donna and Jim Keacher as parade Grand Marshals.  

The Keachers have embarked on fresher days,

having recently sold their landmark hardware and

motorsports business in downtown Stacy, after 52 years of ownership.  

Jim is a Stacy native, born and bred and met Donna while working briefly at an inn in Wisconsin, while he was still serving at a nearby Air Force installation.  They returned to Minnesota and co-ran the business, as Donna also worked with students at Forest Lake schools and her pre-school in Wyoming.

The Stacy Daze Parade is Saturday and steps off from St John’s Church about 12:30/1 p.m. towards Lions Park.  There are a host of events, food and music and a medallion hunt over Stacy Daze. Great fireworks are always on tap Saturday night at dusk.  See schedule in this week’s ad or check the Stacy Lions website.
