Solar power gaining ground as a shared community effort

Even with heavy snowfall last winter and days- on-end where the mercury didn’t get above zero;  Ed Eichten said there were maybe five days tops when the solar array;  helping to power Eichten’s bison and cheese making farm were under slow-melting snow cover.

Council to act on Park Board peninsula plan okay

Lindstrom Park Board, as a result of working with the Trust for Public Land, voted Monday night to recommend to the city council that Lindstrom should acquire about 1.5 miles of North Center Lake shoreland and the virtually untouched attached former Anderson farmstead, on the north end of Olinda Trail.
