We recently returned from a trip to Gillette, Wyo., where Bud competed in the World Horseshoe Pitching Tournament. Over a two week period 900 pitchers in various percentage brackets competed in 98-112 degree weather.

County sheriff’s investigators, the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and Lakes Area Police Dept. personnel mobilized in the pre-dawn hours last Saturday to take charge of the scene of the first murder in Lindstrom that anybody can recall, going back many, many years.
