Chisago Council talks quorums, cannabis, adds third voting precinct
With only three council members present, the Chisago City Council on July 25 amended ordinances to make it easier to get a quorum at planning and park commission meetings. No members of the public appeared at a public hearing on the proposed change.

Law enforcement training to be held at CLMS Aug. 1-3
As part of their ongoing partnership with local law enforcement, the Chisago Lakes Middle School will be the location of a local law enforcement training. The training is organized and led by local law enforcement agencies and school district staff will not be directly involved.
Chisago County Fair boasts great turnout and rollicking good time
The Chisago County Fair was a blast for attendees. From the parade to the demo derby to the 4H showings, talent shows, dances and rides, everyone had a great time in Rush City.
