City of Harris gets over $1 million in grants

The City of Harris is the lone applicant located in Chisago County to have won a grant from almost $100 million awarded for enhancing Minnesota broadband.  The Governor announced the grant winners December 8.

In a special session Thursday, December 22 the Lindstrom City Council voted 4-1 to adopt a draft severance agreement for the city administrator, including granting a three-month wage severance payout.

Sheriff K-9 dog lost in fire that leveled deputy's home

A K9-trained dog serving with the sheriff’s office since last spring, was lost in a house fire Monday this week. Now, a community response is underway to help his handler/deputy and the deputy’s family to recover.
