County sheriff incident reports included a number of small fires, ie:grass fire and outbuildings, over the week none of which became major events. November 3 a shed was on fire and Shafer-Franconia firefighters responded to the address on Teal Avenue about 9:25 p.m. The fire was contained to the shed.
