The area law enforcement agencies participated in traffic law enforcement saturation last week. You would have noticed a presence of squads on Highway 8 especially. The saturations are made possible by outside funding for overtime and mutual aid to local departments.

Lakes Area Police assisted in responding to a call of a suicidal male at a Finley Avenue address in Wyoming, Sept. 25 about 9 p.m. A perimeter was set up around the property and the person was spoken with. No injury resulted.

Lakes Area Police assisted North Branch in making an arrest and seizing an allegedly stolen vehicle, September 16. The 47-year-old suspect was caught near where Hemingway and County Road 14 meet.

Lakes Area Police made an arrest of a 38-year-old woman after a two vehicle crash at 8495 Wyoming Trail August 26, about 10:20 p.m. Officers were called because the party was refusing to provide insurance info. No injuries were sustained.
