Lakes Area Police assisted in responding to a call of a suicidal male at a Finley Avenue address in Wyoming, Sept. 25 about 9 p.m.  A perimeter was set up around the property and the person was spoken with. No injury resulted.

Lakes Area Police made an arrest of a 38-year-old woman after a two vehicle crash at 8495 Wyoming Trail August 26, about 10:20 p.m. Officers were called because the party was refusing to provide insurance info. No injuries were sustained.

August 15 hay bales were seemingly set on fire nearby the solar array project at Tern Avenue and 310th Street.  Taylors Falls firefighters had put the fire out when deputies arrived on scene about 7 a.m.

Lakes Area oficers were called out during the heavy rainfall event June 14-15 to  render aid in the work zone on Old Towne Road near Bluff Street.  Standing water made through traffic hazardous, the drains were opened by public works while officers handled traffic control.

May 20 there was smoke coming out of the Pretty Bird plant in Stacy, reported about 6:30 p.m.  Stacy-Lent and North Branch firefighters contained a fire inside and no injury reported. A grain dryer appears to have been the fire’s starting point.
