Chisago Lakes corridor community revitalization effort wins grant; still in race for millions

What do Frontier Communications, The Weather Channel, DISH and CoBank have in common?  All three are sponsors of the America’s Best Communities (ABC) campaign, and they have given the greater Chisago Lakes Highway 8 corridor a big boost towards enhancing the area’s economic activity.

Search for missing Chisago Lakes grad ends tragically

Pierce County, Wisconsin and River Falls authorities reported locating the body of Bobby Sontag, 20,  Monday, May 4.  There had been an alert put out by Wisconsin law enforcement looking for information about the Shafer native’s whereabouts, after Sontag had not been heard from for a couple of days.

Treats for Troops donates over 200 boxes of Girl Scout cookies
