It was a rainy day at Medina C.C., Thursday, April 20 when the Chisago Lakes girls’ golf team played North Suburban Conference favorite Benilde-St. Margaret’s.
The Chisago Lakes boys’ golf team has gotten off to a 4-1 start this season. “We’re 3-0 at home and 1-1 on the road,” said Wildcat coach John Hawkinson.
After opening its season with a 2-1 victory over Hermantown, the North Branch baseball team suffered a 10-4 loss to St. Francis at North Branch Tuesday, April 11.
The Wildcat baseball team, trailing 4-3, rallied for three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning on four walks and a hit batter to beat the Spring Lake Park Panthers 6-4 Tuesday, April 18 at Spring Lake Park.
Pitching was the name of the game as the Wildcat softball team won two out of three one-run games the past week to improve its record to 5-3 overall and 2-2 in the conference.
