Two dogs were reported as strays over the week and picked up by Lakes Area Police; a short-haired pointer mixed breed and a chocolate Lab, both in Chisago City. Check with the office or contact Northwoods Humane Society. The Lab had a red nylon collar.

Lakes Area Police assisted in responding to a call of a suicidal male at a Finley Avenue address in Wyoming, Sept. 25 about 9 p.m. A perimeter was set up around the property and the person was spoken with. No injury resulted.
