Youngster Kim wins Chisago Lakes Triathlon in debut
Former standout University of Minnesota swimmer Nathan Kim, only 22 years old, had a smashing debut in the Chisago Lakes Triathlon on Sunday, July 28, winning the race by nearly three minutes and showing his prowess in the water is a big advantage for him.
Wasting away in Zucchini-ville

Kailee Carlson was never the star athlete in her career at Chisago Lakes High School that spanned from 2008-2012. Sure, she participated in track and field and tennis, but she didn’t make it to the state tournament, or win any major awards.

Three gymnasts headed to state
North Branch and Chisago Lakes are in arguably the toughest gymnastics section in the state. Section 7A features five of the top 17 ranked teams in Class A, including three in the top 10, so the competition is fierce and the qualification standards are high.
