North Branch to offer administrator post to city of Crosby administrator

Interviews of finalists for the position of city administrator for North Branch were held Sept 26 and resulted in council agreeing to offer the job to the current Crosby MN city administrator, Matthew Hill. Crosby is in Crow Wing County and has a population of about 2,300.

Homecoming King and Queen named in North Branch

North Branch marks homecoming this week with pre-game tailgating, pep-fest at 2 p.m. parade at 3:15 p.m. and the game will be at 6 p.m. on Friday night, with fireworks to follow. They take on Duluth Denfeld.

September 14 crash takes life of Harris man

State Patrol reports a 36-year-old Harris man was killed in a crash on Highway 95 September 14. Passengers, including a female, 41 and an 11 and 13 year old from Shafer— were transported for care. Nobody appeared to be using seatbelts, according to the preliminary details.
